Day Tour to Wave Rock
Walking through a carpet of wildflowers, under a bright blue sky, listening to the wind in the Sheoak trees, you will come across a magnificent, prehistoric rock formation. You will marvel at the size and shape, eroded by the weather over millions and millions of years. This is Wave Rock.
Climb to the top and enjoy the view of the surrounding farm land, shiny salmon gum-forests, and the beautiful salty scrubby bush. This is Australia at its finest. Take a short walk to Hippo's Yawn, offering spectacular views of the orchids and wildflowers in spring.
Enjoy a brewed coffee and home made food at the Wildflower Shoppe Cafe. Here you will also find the entrance to the Wildlife Park, home to koalas, wombats, white kangaroos and an array of beautifully coloured birds.
On the way we will enjoy the Wheatbelt region and Harvey-The Cows' Homeland, relax in the shadows of Araluen Botanic Gardens and have fun socialising with the most amazing birds ever - Black Cockatoos in the special rehabilitation centre (conditions apply, subject to availability)

You will see the green hills and vast plains as we go through Araluen Park and Harvey, Cows' Edem, where the most famous Angus cows are bred.
You will have the chance to meet startling Australian black cockatoos the closest as we call at Rehabilitation Centre (subject to availability due to scientific nature of the centre).
We will proceed to unique Wave Rock and enjoy the Mother Nature's creativity! To be able to see the most you will need comfortable shoes and be fit :)
6am - pick up from the hotel in the city. If your hotel is not in the city, extra pick-up time and fee can apply.
